The United States of America needs a vice president who is better informed and more articulate than Sarah Palin. Kathleen Parker is thinking about the good of the country.

Sarah-Jean, eek, I think you're missing the point here. It's not that Julie supports Palin, but that Julie supports mothers.

I'm inclined to think that Palin has never made a decision for anyone else's benefit besides her own. In which case, she's going to plow, full steam ahead, country, party, and running mate be damned.

As an avowed Dem that's just fine by me.

That is a superb angle I have not yet heard! I love it! She is absolutely in over her head and at one moment when Hubby and I stopped freaking out over the idea of her coming into office we discussed what a bummer it is for her that she has been duped. She was chosen for the wrong reasons and there is no graceful way out for her. It's hard to gauge how aware she is of it, though.
